Apr 26, 2021 @Donkey Kong Country @Sav Stanfield does the moon man and slim the best sonically sounding em song since 2003? Cant think of anything better. Maybe deja vu
Apr 26, 2021 I’d need to listen that song again, I honestly don’t remember. But relapse has Dre mixing/mastering, I feel like em songs didn’t really start sounding “off” sonically til BME-ish and maybe some songs on recovery with the yelling.
Apr 26, 2021 Just beeped it. Yea that too sounds amazing @Donkey Kong Country i meant in term of em flow and sounds normal instead of mixing issue. He sounds totally comfortable
Apr 27, 2021 idk the Cudi song is pretty cool but there's plenty of examples where Em's sounded way more natural since 2003 imo. Like Going Though Changes is a prime example. But even on his latest stuff, he sounded completely in his zone on Fall from Kamikaze, even moreso on I Will or Discombobulated from MTBMB
Apr 27, 2021 this is the only song in many years where I heard old Eminem. the Eminem I listened to a decade ago.
Apr 28, 2021 personally I just prefer to hear him when he gets in that pre-2010 zone where he rides the beat instead of syllable cramming - whether its robotic or not, so long as he's listening to the instrumental and doesn't sound like he recorded it acapella lol. But agreed Moon Man was pretty dope.
Apr 28, 2021 Fredwreck makes the beats Kendrick raps Em talks for five seconds on the intro Dre at the gym
