As weird and voyeuristic as it is, I f---in love (most of) the King Mathers era stuff. Its like an exclusive glimpse into what very easily could have been Em's last days. He sounds completely off the rails, desperately clinging onto his music as a last reprieve. Even though he was drugged out he still had the natural fluidity to the way he rapped,. He sounded confused about why he wasn't at those same heights he was at ~5 years back and even bitter about it but also like a man who knew the end was coming soon. It would be great to hear everything he recorded in this era properly mixed and mastered and sequenced but I really don't think any of it was ever meant for the public, more likely a handful of aimless drugged out session he tried to use to take his mind off other things and then left on the cutting room floor.

Just wanted to add my thoughts im JB
@Grimace aka Andys Father yea it'd definitely be as long as a studio album and as important as one, just in the format of a mixtape like you said, so that's why I still call it a mixtape, I guess it's just preference, the fact that it has a remix and some freestyle type songs always leads me to call it as such.

Also @ some other people in this thread
-Yeah I realize there are some inaccuracies on my KM video ("Emulate" should not be there, neither should "Give me the Ball" - I knew this, I only added them to make the project feel more complete & longer, especially since those 2 are from 05 & 07 respectively)
-Thanks for the props to whoever said that, I plan on updating the tracklist with some new cool skits & slightly better order
    -Don't s--- on me @thecanibus dumbass lmao

"The guy “recreates” based on his own opinion he has no sources or exclusives. Just a heads up you seems to think this guy has a direct connection when he doesn’t. He also upscales most his stuff instead of preserving original releases quality if you care."

-The King Mathers tracklist is not entirely based off my opinion, there are legit transitions that have been discovered (I posted about them the day after all them leaked) and have then been fully restored to what they were supposed to sound like (I Get Money->Everything for example)
-I never claimed the tracklists were real, exclusive, or official, that's why it says "fan made" in the description. I call them "accurate" versions because they're better than the braindead fools who put Give me The Ball on Relapse 2 and then put Wee Wee on King Mathers
-I put in more work to make things seem like real Eminem stuff, researching any articles about KM era/Relapse 2 that I can, to try to make the best with what we've got. It's an uphill battle. Never gonna be perfect. Never gonna be "official," but it'll do for now. I'd like to see you make a better King Mathers or Relapse 2 if that's the case the only effort I put in was my opinion
-As for upscaling artwork assets, this is done with some of the most up to date software and algorithms to preserve detail and deliver at higher resolutions, so that you can print stuff out onto CDs and it won't look all fuzzy, you can hate all you want but the original Shady LTD promo images are extremely low res.. so go ahead and make some king mathers art with them and post your 900x900p artwork here. You would be surprised dude, it's 20-f---in-20 and there are some amazing tools. As for Relapse 2 no upscaling was necessary as all the assets I have for full CD art we already have in HD
-If you're talking about music then "upscale" is the wrong word, reproducing elements and remastering to reduce mixing errors & artifacts is.. improving the original sound for an ever-so-slightly more commercial, loud listening experience, while avoiding any distortions or loss of data, which is why I never re-encode anything back to mp3

It's not necessarily a mixtape, it's a studio album with the feel of a mixtape (remix/short tracks). It's sequenced very delicately and you can tell it had thought put into it. as for the music released, I enjoy most of it. I definitely think from the tracks we've heard + info on the tracks we haven't it would be top five in his discog..

I love the king mathers leaks, I find it so interesting to hear what his career could have been like if he dropped this. I would love for it to be leaked in full one day

This is probably the best interpretation of King Mathers that reflects how I also feel about it. Well said.

Nooooooo not at all. Yes some tracks are taken from SFTL2 but it's different. It's from 2007 - 2008

JB is oversimplifying it. It would have still been a completely commercial release and promoted like an album. The length of songs + IGM remix is why he calls it a mixtape.

i way prefer his king mathers voice that the one he has now.

he sounds so bitter & much more arrogant in many of his king mathers songs.

Would have been a decent album better than Encore
