Feb 9, 2015 Why are people talking about his album dropping tomorrow? I don't follow Kendrick news cuz I don't like interacting with a large majority his fan base but am an active listener. Someone fill me in.
Feb 9, 2015 Fantastic track, but i hope the whole album don't sound like this, i was hoping for more of a vibe throughout the album like 'untitled' and the outro to this song!... Also, i agree with @Narsh that his lyrics feel a little simpler on this track then it could've been, just a tad....
Feb 9, 2015 Jesus this is nice, it seems it's going to be a emotional rollercoaster. So many different intensities.
Feb 9, 2015 Lol u guys only think this sounds like yeezus cuz it has a Jamaican Dancehall singer. I'm wondering why he waited till the very last line of the song to get his point across about black Hippocrates. Thoughts?
Feb 9, 2015 I feel like he was hammering the point home the whole song. -The first verse sounds like it's directed toward white people (You hate my people, your plan is to terminate my culture/You're f---in' evil) -second verse black people (You hate me don't you? I know you hate me just as much as you hate yourself - a response to the comments that got him criticized a few weeks back) third verse himself (So why did I weep when Trayvon Martin was in the street? When g--- banging make me k--- a n----- blacker than me? Hypocrite!) EDIT: Just summing up he's outlining the hypocrisies from all sides. at least from my interpretation. EDIT 2: apologies for the genius links... just trying to copy/paste and now it links to a site i'm not really fond of and that makes me sad but not sad enough to fix it.
Feb 9, 2015 Something about the anniversary of the civil rights act being passed and the recent songs being "pro-black"
