Dec 21, 2020 Lol....come in bro, just barely. You made it sound like I was out to lunch. It must be revival I'm thinking of....it was his only that didn't go platinum....I am sure it will eventually
Dec 21, 2020 That one also got recently certified....finally. MTBMB is certifird for some time. It just sells sround 5k copies per week. So roughly 2 months since it passed the 1 mili mark.
Dec 21, 2020 For bonus points, how many sales are from Godzilla streams? Curious the impact of gnat as first single....
Dec 21, 2020 Stop it morons when you grow up you learn when u do something u think of ur audience not the “experts” casual listeners dont know if the deluxe is new album or not which is why deluxe sales always low regardless of how many new content is on it they made a mistake calling it deluxe and u morons trying to debate this is as moronic
Dec 22, 2020 Well...the ..majority. it's like a 4x platinum single in the US with 500m+ streams. MTBMB is streamed around 1.4 billion times
Dec 22, 2020 I get that, and it bothers me in some cases too, but those semantics still exist. All these names are arbitrary, album, EP, mixtape etc don't mean anything anymore in regards to length because records and then CDs became irrelevant. That's why Eminem has an album with 11 songs and an EP with 11 songs. These titles are only significant now for representing the artist's intent with the release. In this case, Side B was not deemed a standalone album and became a deluxe bonus disk.
Dec 22, 2020 This exactly. Try not to be so reactionary lol. Relapse refill sold basically nothing, and he dominated the following year.
Dec 22, 2020 The same reason why Drake can call More Life a “care package” and completely flop and turn around to dominate the following year with Scorpion. A body of work is as it is subjectively marketed as.
Dec 22, 2020 I agree. Exactly. Which is why it's baffling - from a business-perspective... they would market it like this.
Dec 22, 2020 I feel like people are forgetting just how crazy SSLP was or something? I’m cool with all opinions obviously... loving this Side B cut but not sure what all the Side B >> SSLP talk is? A lot of people ask me Am I afraid of death? h--- yeah, I'm afraid of death I don't want to die yet A lot of people think that I worship the devil That I do all types of r-----ed s--- Look, I can't change the way I think And I can't change the way I am But if I offended you Good 'Cause I still don't give a f--- I'm zoning off of one joint stopping a limo Hopped in the window, shopping a demo at gunpoint A lyricist without a clue, what year is this? f--- a needle here's a sword, body pierce with this Living amok, never giving a f--- Gimme the keys, I'm drunk and I've never driven a truck But I smoke dope in a cab I'll stab you with the sharpest knife I can grab Come back the next week and re-open your scab A killer instinct runs in the blood Emptying full clips and burying guns in the mud I've calmed down now I was heavy once into drugs I could walk around straight for two months with a buzz My brain's gone, my soul's worn and my spirit is torn The rest of my body's still being operated on I'm ducked the f--- down while I'm writing this rhyme 'Cause I'm probably gonna get struck with lightning this time
Dec 22, 2020 People, it's not an album. So it won't be a real flop. I guess, they were afraid that with all this corona mess people won't be in the mood. They wanted to give us music but were afraid of a flop or that Em will lose his record of consecutive #1 albums. Instead, they decided to feed the sales of the original.
Dec 22, 2020 4-5 dope SSLP songs vs. album packed front to back with heavy bars for me, I understand your point of view, but I'm still taking M2BMB over SSLP
