Based of what we have seen so far here is my best guess:

Two brothers that are born from the same mother are separated early in life and become involved in different gangs. (Probably the Pirus and Crips) Eventually they meet up again and one of them shoots the other in a g----related hit and run. Upon later inspection he realizes who he killed and changes his life for the better. I'm probably reaching but goddam that would be sick
