Feb 23, 2015 Ive been thinking about it and beside bass brothers not being involved the only other main issue with todays eminem is that he doesnt have anyone with talent who is there to say no to him(and can afford to(aka dont depend of the next paycheck coming from em)).He used to be surouned by some of the greatest hip hop artists of all time(and he had something to prove/to learn from). The last decent artist who said no to his crazyness? what happened to him? got droped from aftermath(bishop lamont saying crack a bottle is crap).Dr dre also used to give a huge f--- because his credibility was depending on eminem success(look at the behind the scene video s---t of his first 3 albums) Dr dre was always around the video s---t. Now we can all safely say that dr dre doesnt give a single f--- about eminem(which is understandable also). Hes now only surrounded by YES men who have no other choice but to agree with every commercial stupidity hes doing hoping to get a small % of that gold and get out of their miserable life(which is understandable). who knows? maybe the bass brothers told eminem they didnt dig relapse at all? they were involved with the production of relapse, they must have heard the cd before the release.if u look at the production credit of relapse, yes bass brothers produced beautiful but they also co-wrote some other songs on relapse.THey might have told eminem to scratch relapse and re-do an other cd? EMinem went probably to cry to luis resto/Royce or some of d-12 members about how bass brothers are douche that dont understand music and they told him to just dont work with them anymore. I just dont believe the story of eminem staying far away from them after being sober. He was with them in 08(while he was already sober for 1 year). SOmething else happened. what are you guys thoughts?
Feb 23, 2015 This is a good post TBH. I've always thought there was more to it than 'oh they get high, I can't f--- with them no more'.
Feb 23, 2015 Eminem and Bass Bros just simply didn't work together for some legal disputes between their teams I guess. The last project of them was in 2008 Beautiful, and they ended up crediting Bass Bros in Relapse Paul Bass Bros and Joel Martin their business partner had issues. Eminem renewed his contract with Interscope in 2006 and seemed like Paul wanted to cut them out. Paul had the beef with Joel, Jeff and Mark I supposed and seriously it comes to the fact Paul was purchasing Effigy of Luis Resto. SHADYXV 2014 with with Luis Resto as additional producer,Marshall was completely.incoherent and in no conditions to deal with any of it. That's the Shady Records Boss Problem.
Feb 23, 2015 thanks for the info man. so they wont probably collaborate ever again.such a waste. now instead of good production we get some pop crap feat skylar gray on shadyxv. Amazing.eminem is done.
Feb 23, 2015 Bass Bros is awesome, they worked well with Marshall. i really dont like Em ends up on any pop album. he now is doing ok with LL Cool J.
Feb 23, 2015 remember his beef with Xzibit.... I heard it somewhere and also checked. everyone can see clearly the Boss matter in Shady Records.
Feb 23, 2015 ok if you remember this verse of 1983 ''Got a call from Paul, told me s--- isn't working Exchange words, told me tell me that s--- in person He probably told him, and by the way did he said it On a prolijetic twisted made about him I see Slim and he said he didn't recognize me Was it that or did he let another man to find me? I don't know, but now I gotta get this all behind me Follow my calling when I used to follow n----s blindly''
Feb 23, 2015 i dont say anything without proofs. Straight from horses mouth! at 6:07, he talked about 1983, and the situation b/w him, Em and Paul
Feb 23, 2015 yo dawg I heard you liked squandered talent so I killed my career while I killed my career
Feb 23, 2015 he didnt say much in the interview but There's always a big problem in Shady Records management. ffs
