Feb 24, 2015 That's what I'm saying like I guarantee you if some how some new artist in 2010 made the EXACT same album as recovery people would s--- that artist off. A lot of people I personally know really like recovery because its one of those relatable albums. So what its not as technical and undergroundish as were used to seeing, it was still a fantastic album verses what I hear from other mainstream artists every other day.
Feb 24, 2015 how the f--- is Recovery good? The only songs with decent content are Going Through Changes, Talkin 2 Myself and You're Never Over and two of those are horrendously executed. Spacebound, Seduction and a few others are mediocre at best. I appreciate the idea of having a theme of recovery and rebirth but half the album was just him rambling garbage and horribly cringeworthy punchlines over some of the worst production I've ever heard, he didn't stick to the theme at all. Great idea, awful execution in my opinion. Not saying Relapse, MMLP2, etc are any better, just dont understand the praise Recovery gets these days, there's no way i could sit through the entire thing again.
Feb 24, 2015 Talking 2 myself is good in my opinion, obviously going through changes, not afraid has content about him getting out of a dark place... Its a shame people are too blind to see that, seduction is very enjoyable he absolutely murder Lil Wayne on no love, spacebound is decent to good, Cinderella man is decent, 25 to life is good, almost famous is great in my eyes. Ltwyl also clearly has strong and current content .. Again you might see it as poppy or corny or whatever but how is that not good content?? Abusive relationships in which has clearly been in and were very big at the time with ri and cb. Don't let your personal opinions get in the way of fact, I can agree with not personally liking the album.. Totally understandable. But to say it isn't good... That's just hating and not giving a fair shake.

Feb 24, 2015 It didn't until I listened to other Eminem albums again. The yelling on that album sounds so obnoxious compared with the yelling on songs like til I collapse or maybe the way I am. Idk maybe its opinionated
Feb 25, 2015 for some reason recovery gets so much hate but what you dont understand is if u go abck and listen to eminem show and recovery very same ones quieter but hes yelling on tracks like say goodbye to hollywood because his voice wasnt as vocal back then as in being grunty like it is now same thing just different voice changes :L oh and also music is mixed to be louder now recovery sounds like Brian g wanted ems vocals very loud and clear but just a bit too much lol
