Legend is one of the best openers of all time. There’s not really a single bad song on here. It’s the mans only classic album, in my opinion 6 man, 6 god, you and the 6 - 6 years ago

    Like somewhere along the lines in the blog era, mixtapes changed from being songs of an artist rapping over other artists’ beats to just straight up being thought-out, cohesive projects. And now in the streaming era those lines are even more blurred to the point where everything released should just be considered an album. With the exception of Wayne putting out rehashes of his old mixtapes.

    do kids these days even listen to albums the way we do? I mean until I really started to fall in love with the artistry that goes into making an album, I used to download a zip file and just play it on shuffle in my iTunes not even listening in order. Who knows how kids take it in these days. I’d imagine similarly

    I’d still rank Take Care ahead of this, but definitely his second best. I think it falls off a bit at the end, but the first 9 tracks are crazy. The rest is hit or miss.

    I still remember all the rumors that night saying it was a diss to Baby and all that lol

    I always liked Drake to a degree. Hard not to f--- with basically the artist of your generation. It really clicked with me when IYRT dropped and made me genuinely become a fan of this guy. I will always put it above anything else he makes. f---ing love Madonna. 6 Man? 6 God? Know Yourself? f---

    Now & Forever is, in my opinion, the only weak song on the whole album and that’s just because I don’t love that drake style

    The A-side is some of his best work but I always found the B-side pretty weak besides jungle which is A1.
