I always wondered about this, in some ways I think it was The Source just bullshitting to stir up the drama that was surrounding their pointless ordeal with Eminem.

I feel like there was info about this when the song first came out.
People who had his yearbook from the time, went to school with him all said it was bs, there was no girl like that etc.
of course the story is bs, at the very least exaggerated to help him explain the foolish pride tape. getting rejected and made fun of seems more likely.
