Mar 5, 2015 basically what Zep said, but i want you to know that i think so too lmao it seems that u got many closet stans on ur forum m8
Mar 5, 2015 Pretty sure Cashis's album is the only one they took a loss on, I'm guessing they spent around 100-200k each on making Obies, Yelawolfs and Slaughterhouse album and they did 45k-75k sales in the first week.
Mar 5, 2015 Another thing about this promotion convo, the music industry is changing and no one promotes the same way anymore. J cole released no singles for his album(400k), drake had a suprise album(500k) like beyonce. Theres not much promotion anymore, atleast not for these big mainstream artists. Em dont need promotion to sell, as a matter fact it kinda hurts him at this point in his career. If shadyxv never had no singles or a tracklist come out and was a suprise album, i guarantee he would of sold a ton more.
Mar 5, 2015 They had to of put alotta work in on Stat Quo's album too. That s--- was in the works for like six years before they finally dropped him.
Mar 5, 2015 Stat Quo was their biggest f--- up at least Cashis made some money from You Don't Know. Stat Quo was miss after miss
Mar 5, 2015 300-400 songs lmao. The best Statlanta version I could possibly make still wouldn't sell more than Yelawolf. FACT
Mar 5, 2015 "WE ABOUT TO RUN THE A WHEN WE DROP STATLANTA" *Album flops* He had better beats at his disposal his voice and ad-libs pissed me off a lot of the time. The Way It Be, Runaway Love (OG yes it exists I have it) G.R.I.T.S., Get Low, By My Side, Call Some Hoes & the Statlanta intro I have are his best songs imo.
