I like both artists, but Kendrick is definitely going to win first week sales, and even overall sales.

Kendrick: 570k - 650k
Kanye: 470k - 590k

We need another Kanye x 50 type battle. That was so good for the culture when it happened. Covers of magazines, doing interviews together and battling to see who would sell more. It was entertaining

I think Fourfiveseconds is gonna boost his sales significantly. Plus Kanye's never been more at the center of pop culture than where he's at right now, and this time it's actually in a mostly positive light.

seems pretty safe to say kendrick is trying to butt heads with kanye by setting the release date for the end of march. kanye has been promoting unbelievably all year and the hype for his album has been pretty unreal. it would make the most sense for kanye to release at the end of march, seems like its been leading up to that. no doubt kendrick interferes with that now, and the hype for his album the next two weeks will probably k--- a lot of the buzz kanye has been creating. its kanye's move now, but it seems safe to say that if he waits too long after kendrick's release (which knowing him he wouldn't do anyway) all the promotion hes been doing will be diminished.
a sales battle like the 50/kanye one would be sweet and probably make a lot of sense for both of there sales. but if i had to place a bet now I'd say that kanye's aggressive, everywhere-you-look promotion will outsell kendricks quiet mysterious promotion.
but it is 2015 and you honestly never know.

^ thought the picture maybe fake, there was a pic saying Kanye's album is coming May 10th. It was a poster of the track list for a listening party that had that date on it.

But in all honesty... we're compared a King to a God here
