Combo of both. Always looking to lose weight. I'm only 5'8 so my weight needs to be pretty low to have a healthy BMI (if you even consider that stat valid) however I was gearing up to buy life insurance and that's what those companies go by. But mostly I recognized all my gains in the gym or with running were always erased by overdoing the carbs. I had to acknowledge I was addicted to them a like an addict. Bread, cookies, pizza, any kind of pasta, etc.... THEN look at sugar. It's enough to make you want to give up when you see how many things have sugar or sweeteners added to them.

Since then I based all my meals around a meat like I was back in caveman era, salads all the time - and since i'm a stubborn SOB, I prevailed. I went from 182 to 166. The weight is really just a side effect. When you put in a couple of strong clean weeks in and then splurge a little. The next few days you will feel like s--- and strive to eat clean again.

When you store a carb it stores a certain amount of water with it. When you flush your body of carbs, you lose all that water weight - makes you look a lot more cut.

    Lol…

    Still going man?

When did I ever state I knew everything about this matter?
    Seriously when? Quote me.

How do I need to open my "worldview" up?

I literally tried to help a guy out by giving him diet advice that I knew from years past and you came in and told me I was wrong.
I know I am wrong now.

How exactly does that mean I need to open my worldview? I never once thought I had it "figured out". I relayed the information I was taught.

Now you just look like a fool trying to make this into something more/else. We are talking about food/diet of all things.

I feel bad for you at this point.

Lol, wow. Any other posters here not see how petty he is being?
Or are we cool with it cause it's @M Solo?

By the logic you're using, you are the one that needs to open up your world view and understand that when you know something to be true, don't down talk people that don't. Instead use your superior knowledge to teach and learn them.
You need a serious mental check because you're the one acting like you have the world figured out. How ironic.

i too, understand where solo is coming from, and if the things i posted are in fact garbage, then instead of doing what he did, he should use his experience and knowledge to help bot

instead he decided to look like a huge know it all d-ck and helped no one

    bot is still fat

    no one won

and the cute thing is, i know solo is done posting now because i'm no longer arguing against him

he doesn't care about helping, he cares about looking like a smart a---

Well, you asked for it, so....

Absolutely false. Meal timing has no effect whatsoever on body composition. Eating multiple small meals a day absolutely does nothing for the metabolism.

Wrong again. A person doesn't have to workout while dieting. They can be completely sedentary and lose weight if they are in a calorie deficit. Is working out important? Absolutely but it's not mutually exclusive with dieting.

LMAO what the f--- are you even talking about? 90% of dieting is working out????? LOL what? No. 100% of dieting is 100% of what you eat. You know, you're f---ing diet?

"90% of dieting is working out" I have heard a LOT but that's a f---ing new one. Please elaborate LMAO.

Ugh. If you're going to do cardio alone you should be doing HIIT, not steady state long distance s---.

Oh, @Bot Basal Metabolic Rate is at 2500 calories? You know this how???? What if his BMR is 2000 calories. Will your 2000k a day diet still work? It's one thing to act like a f---ing know it all fa---- on a forum to make yourself feel good or smart but it's another to give out information that's actually detrimental/harmful to people.

I don't know if you were trying to help the guy but at the end of the day literally everything you said was wrong. Everything. I'd refrain from ever giving out health and nutrition advice again or at the very least go do some real f---ing research so you at least know the difference between your a--- and a hole in the ground when it comes to this type of s---.

chewing gum is goat for when you're in a nervous/anxiety situation .

It signals to the brain that if you're eating it cant be that bad so it calms you down.

When you are chewing, your body is expecting to be getting food.

    Example:

You eat a meal and then have a stick of gum to freshen your breath. When you are chewing, your body still thinks that meal is going on never fully allowing yourself to go into digestion mode and break down all of the food you ate. You never fully experience the benefit of the nutrients and fiber from what you are eating thus making you hungrier sooner. Look it up.

Exercise at least 15 minutes a day (seriously, it's just 15 minutes) and avoid carbs like the plague. Yes, it's that easy.

It's not about dieting or dramatically increasing exercise. It's about changing your lifestyle permanently.

Thanks man i'll try that. Like you said I do have a soda every time I have a meal, there was once were I drank 24 pack in 1 week, so by limiting the amount of soda is a good start, i'll try the water too.
