I like MMLP2 quite a bit, and think it could have been Em's best post-hiatus album, with the proper tracklist. However, let's not pretend it's free of Em's out-of-place cringe wordplay/bad lines that have plagued all albums post Relapse. Here's a non exhaustive list of those "hidden gems", that some people seem to forget about, or pretend they're not as bad as their MTBMB (both sides) counterparts:

I listen to albums front to back when it comes to Em. If I go back to MMLP2, I keep skipping tracks. Side B doesn't have any tracks that annoy me enough to have to skip them.

Revival is easily his worst album. It was less enjoyable than Encore. It’s not even close.

Definitely his best album in terms of straight rapping and wordplay. I just wish the production was better and more consistent and that he swapped some of the deluxe songs with main track ones. Would have been a great album instead of just good.

I was living in denial, but I finally accepted greatness of this verse
