    Under The Skin.

I couldn't stop thinking about this movie for the next several days. No movie has touched my soul before as much as this one. I remember that I tried to encourage some of my friends to watch it because I needed someone who I can share my excitement with. My mind was full of very deep thoughts but they couldn't find a way to go out. :emoji_slight_frown:

It's a shame that it doesn't occur to me more often.

Oh and I forgot Basketball Diaries. Highly recommended. Pretty sure it was Leonardo Dicaprio's first staring role.

    requiem for a dream

when i think powerful movies, this is the first one that comes to mind. i can't really relate to effect drugs have on you, because i've never done any drugs. i've never even smoked weed. but regardless of whether someone has done drugs or not, i really think the director does a great job of sending a message in this movie. the ending of this movie is VERY moving and really leaves an impact on the viewer. it should be required that this movie be shown to early teens in public schools

    taxi driver

when i think powerful movies, this is another one that comes to mind. scorsese does a great job of painting a picture of a lot of the problems that take place in NY in the 1970s and how it all eventually boils over. like requiem for a dream, the ending is really the most powerful part.

but yeah, like these movies or not, i think they're undeniably powerful

i know there are other ones, but i just can't think of them right now....

which movies do you guys consider powerful?
