    Too long, and Dying of Thirst isn't as good as Sing for Me.

    Maad City is definitely better.

    I'm in the camp that loves Dying of Thirst, and it probably would've been a great as the album closer after sing for me fades out (instead of real and compton), but as is, it's just an tacked on baggage. It adds unnecessary runtime to the song/album as a whole. The entire concept for dying of thirst isnt so revolutionary or powerful that it was absolutely necessary -- and, as is, even though ill always enjoy listening to it, it brings down the overall rating for SFM/DoT from like a 10 to a 9

    why are we comparing gkmd and tpab, without mentioning section 80?

    is this deliberate op, or do you not rate it as high as those?

    Man after listening to both these albums over and over the past few weeks they're both great but i'm still rolling with GKMC easily. Not just because of the more main stream style it presents but i like voicemails and the conversations with his boys better than the lead up to the conversation with 2pac

    both were masterpieces, it's really hard to compare, gkmc was a beautiful look into the life of a kid trapped in the streets and their ways meanwhile tpab was a man with so much influence and power trying to better himself, stay out the streets, influence the kids to do better, battle his demons, tpab is so complex and layered i'll probably peep something new next time i play it

    I like em both, but if I have to choose one, I'll take To p---- A Butterfly any day.
    It has more replay value not just one song but as a whole album.
    ( sorry for my English, its not my first language but my third. )

    I can understand if someone says TPAB is a better listen when you listen to it from start to finish, but GKMC absolutely kills TPAB in terms of highs. GKMC has far higher highs than TPAB does.

    Better start: GKMC
    Better middle: GKMC
    Better ending: TPAB

    Madd city, b---- don't k--- my vibe & the remix, Money Trees, Backseat Freestyle and The Art of Peer Pressure are highs that TPAB just doesn't hit imo
