    Sounds like you made it from stock instruments. Those synths sound like the dungeon level on an 8bit videogame. Their melody is nothing special. Drum pattern is a snooze fest. Trap snares stick out like a sore thumb. Not feeling it. This is coming from somebody who has enjoyed writing to a handful of your beats before. Not hating.

    Edit: d---, I was writing to Can I Please Give Her These Flowers? freshman year. Time flies. Wish I still wrote.

    It's not my favourite beat of yours. Maybe it would work if Earl rapped on this beat. It perfectly fits his style.

    No worries dude, I always appreciate criticism. You're sort of right anyway. I made the beat with the intent of it sounding rough around the edges. I even sampled the background noise from an verse I recorded in 2011 to act as some ambience. I might re-mix it and make the bass a little heavier for the added depth.

    if he wanted to "stand alone" from others then he should just create his own artist thread and update that, rather than just cluttering this section with numerous random threads, that goes for everyone too

    Because I've established personal connections long before S80 was around. The people I mention are past collaborators, friends, critics, etc. people I've had personal interaction with in the past. I'd rather establish an individual discussion thread per piece of music released than throw it into a clusterfuck of random producers.
