    If it does happen I will quit supporting my team. They will k--- the game if they go through with it, money talks though doesn’t it.


    I’m hoping that the decline from the two big German clubs and one big French club will put a spanner in the works.

    Outrage from fans was intense...even politicians getting involved

    News all over twitter are that Chelsea and City are preparing to withdraw from the competition, however they can do this just to be able to play the semifinals of Champions League lol

    No more CL would be a shame. Just having the same 15 clubs in a super league w no surprises would be boring afff

    Idk if you watch American football but imagine the owner of the Dallas Cowboys was pissed they didn’t make playoffs every year so he decides to create his own super league with 4 other NFL teams. It just destroys the competitive nature of the sport.

    I don't really follow football/soccer.

    Can someone explain to me in layman's terms why this is bad?

    Surely if the teams involved play it as extra games and it doesn't interfere with their existing commitments and leagues then there is no problem?
