I just need to network more. You're by far the most established person I know in that world, but you're still relatively new you'd say, right? I guess it's just that my writing isn't my focus yet (which is also why I sometimes phone in a few pieces...its pretty easy to tell when)

lol you're giving sound advice tho, and i probably will focus more on my "brand" or at least, my value, down the line

What I am trying to ask you is if you don't finish the song, are you going to fast forward to the point you didn't finish or are you going to start over again?

All I'm saying is a 30min song doesn't give you a chance to digest certain parts of the song. There might be one part of the song that I just really like where the beat switches, but because of how long the track is I am forced to listen to the rest.

Eh. Usually a shorter album (examples could be Illmatic or Led Zeppelin 2) thats really great can leave you wanting more which isnt a bad thing

Hmmm track wise I'd prefer at least 12. 16 is a good amount anything more is just bonus. But again they got to be solid a--- tracks if we're going over 16.

Length wise, 40 minutes minimum would be good I'd say. I mean I'd like to be selfish and say every cd should be 70-80 minutes but that just can't happen.
