    the off season was meant to be a mixtape anyways if i remember right. it was just something to fill in until the fall off dropped.

    lol absolutely. I stand by what I say said that this is the only thing of his (discounting ROTD3) that I find myself wanting to go back to since his mixtapes. Solid effort from Cole, love the 21 and Baby feats (and Cam lol)

    Yeah if you watched his documentary this is basically all the songs that won't make it onto the fall off (his last album before he takes a break). He also has another album/tape on the way called Its a Boy

    It makes the most sense to me that this was all the rapping songs where he just going off that didn't make the Fall Off cut, and Its a Boy will probably be more emotional songs that don't make it onto the fall off.

    It's growing on me :emoji_thinking:
    The only track that still sticks out negatively to me is "100.mil'". Cole rapping with that kind of autotune delivery sounds a little akward to me.

    yeah there are a few songs here that don’t do much for me but this is the only one i find bad

    That’s why it’s so good, no constraints to sticking to a concept of a traditional album. Just 12 tracks with no need to try to connect them in some way for the sake of an “album” format. like his old mixtapes, they were just a collection of good tracks. I feel this album follows the same format as his mixtapes. I think he may have put it out as a mixtape, but at the status he is in the game, it doesn’t make sense to release his projects as a mixtape.
