Mar 29, 2015 I think the apathy of the of the hook is purposeful. The song is supposed to represent the numbness of someone crawing out of their depression. It follow u because it's supposed to represent the post-depression mindset of someone trying to find a way to keep moving along in life rather than let their burdens stop them dead on their tracks

Mar 29, 2015 "just an interlude" is the laziest reason ever to dismiss for free. its over 3 mins, its a song. and i know i was lazy too by saying complexion is "boring," but ive also already explain why its probably the weakest song. it's unnecessary in the scheme of the album, i dont know if the concept totally works, the transition into TBTB is the best part, etc. for free isn't good just becasue it's "catchy" lol. it serves its purpose on the album really well, it shows great technical rapping from kendrick, has engaging production, and is unique/stands out.

Mar 29, 2015 I've talking about this kind of stuff before this /r/breakingbad world we live in lol, and so many people would give me s--- for it (when literally everything I said I backed up/made sense, even if it wasnt intentional). I treated the show like a novel, and that's how the writers approached it as well.
