Straight blasphemy. Alright is one of the best songs on the album, and one I can listen to over and over cuz kendrick spits and it has a great hook. The only thing I don't love about these walls is his voice for the 1st 2 verses. Institutionalized is great in the context of the album, but there isn't a whole lot of rapping tbh, just not a huge fan of his style on most of the song (2nd verse is hot tho) so I can see that one. But it really pisses me off that he cut off the last verse of I. If he did the full thing like he did on snl it would've been much better. The "live concert" feel was only cool the first couple listens tbh

They are parts of this album so I wouldn't judge them out of that context, but hey; Institutionalised is a very good song. This version of i is easily better than the single (his voice doesn't sound r-----ed, and the "live concert" is a great idea and it's executed very well).

I like alright but not as much as these 2 songs. And someone could say that "it's one of the best songs on the album" for like half the songs of the album lol.
