    Sing for the moment rock bottom stan and lose yourself are his top 5 with ringer. I wont fight u if u put sing ahead of ringer. But thats about it

    This came up on my shuffle and I almost made a new thread about this as an homage to Kamikaze, but The Ringer is definitely top 10 Eminem songs of all time any era. @Koolo, you still stand by this thread? I was going to argue Eminem’s Not Alike verse is top 5 since 2009

    Ringer is an amazing song. Kamikaze is an amazing album. To me, it was like a modern MMLP. Obviously the production is different as it should be. But the overall feel of that song and album; the intensity, anger, everything was perfect.

    Not just sonically but also in terms of songwriting and concepts. Drug Ballad, The Way I Am, Stan, White America, Sing For The Moment, Rock Bottom, My Fault are just better songs imho. It's all subjective though.

    Plus, sonically, b---- Please 2 and Without Me >>>>>>

    Ngl though, The Ringer does show more technical mastery than many of his prime songs. I'll say that much.

    Eminem rapping from like 2014 on is like the equivalent of And 1 street ball. Just because they can dribble the ball insanely and do crazy moves, doesn’t actually mean it’s good basketball. Just because Eminem finagles a bunch of syllables and bends and twists the pronunciations so that they rhyme, along with pausing in between those syllables to do whatever flow he is doing, doesn’t mean it’s the best music. I think he sacrifices too much of the music sometimes to get off his rap “abilities.”

    Half the songs on MMLP alone are better imho. But it's a great song for sure.

    to me there's legit nothing past Relapse I could put on a top 10. I like stuff like Godzilla, Discombobulated, but I don't think they can match up to his older music. Like I'd put the entire Slim Shady LP and most of MMLP before those songs.
