May 4, 2015 What's this I see? n----s tryna act like G's Haven't listened to this for like a week. The hype is real right now! What's Beef is lookin like it's better than M's.
May 4, 2015 f--- album rocky bro LVL cool as f--- but for the most part mixtape rocky just feels more genuine & inspired
May 4, 2015 Idk I feel like album Rocky bumped more but kinda lost his way... This is like what we wanted out of album Rocky initially
May 4, 2015 I think in the pursuit of making more commercially viable music he had to forfeit some of the creative control & risk taking in favor of making bangers but that's how s--- like wild for the night happens i guess
May 4, 2015 Posted earlier asking if there was new info, is there? Or is it just a bunch of nothing all the way back to page 7
May 4, 2015 So I got What's Beef last night. Two main takeaways I got: 1. Its atmosphere is consistent with what we've heard so far, which is great considering how disjointed Long.Live.A$AP was in a lot of respects (f---in' Problems --> Wild For the Night ---> 1 Train...WTF). Also Wild For the Night is still the worst song in existence. 2. It has an actual subject. Rocky has a great voice, so I'm all for hearing him rap about nothing over spacey, atmospheric beats...but he had kinda mixed results with that on his debut. Like, Goldie is great, but LVL is just a worse version of any song from his mixtape IMO. I'm glad he's making songs that are a bit more discernible from one another in terms of subject matter. It doesn't take much: I have a great feeling about this album.
May 4, 2015 i really don't see how he could even get the What's Beef sample clearance. More or less a carbon copy.
