Nov 15, 2015 i've written about kanye's use of writers extensively on here, in posts you've liked and responded to.
Nov 15, 2015 wait, but drake hasn't even mentioned "YOLO" since take care so you certainly don't have a strong grasp on his music if you think that's all he's talking about is quentin even credited on more than three songs on IYRT? also, don't know how crediting works for feature verses..I'm not surprised he wasn't credited on RICO. he WAS credited as far back as 0-100 and according to the QM tumblr post, he met drake around that time anyways. I don't think drake is tryna hide him or anything
Nov 15, 2015 still confused bb i wrote an essay about only one, sure. but it deserved it dont know what u mean by this post tho
Nov 15, 2015 I describe his subject matter as YOLO and being on top, not his exact use of words. I'm not as far off as you think. Actually i think it's pretty acurate, but i'm willing to listen to songs that are totally great from a rappers perspective. Quentin wrote some hardhitting lines. Drake is trying so hard to be seen as a rap god but most of the time his raps are cringeworthy/unlistenable to me.
Nov 15, 2015 kanye has plenty of credited writers but is obviously the creative force behind his songs. drake is an empty vessel. pay me.
Nov 15, 2015 how is he "obviously" the creative force behind the writing tho? like, what are you using to measure phrases like "empty vessel"?
Nov 15, 2015 I was playing, it was a lazy response to a lazy jab by you. I was taking about All Day, and referring to how you reacted in Narsh fashion when that (in hindsight, forgettable) joint dropped.
Nov 15, 2015 what is with you drake fans calling all day "forgettable" when your boy literally makes disposable music
Nov 15, 2015 i mainly praised the 2nd half off all day, which is still better than anything drakes done all year do i win? in reality there are really very few examples of when me reacting in typical narsh fashion has been that far off base
Nov 15, 2015 sure, there's no relation between those two things, but there's a deep disconnect when you say kanye's single is forgettable while stumping for drake.
