Mar 29, 2015 Not really. NWTS wasn't AOTY & TML certainly wasn't. Drake's popularity is causing people to overate. He doesn't have many timeless records apart from some songs on Take Care. Like if u compared Kanye,Kendrick & Drake's top 10 songs there would be a big difference in quality.
Mar 29, 2015 My feelings too. I like the album, but it's (for the most part) too left for me. The best songs on the album are the safe tracks: Hold My Liquor, Blood On The Leaves and Bound 2. As much as I like the album, I'd play pretty much any Kanye album before I played Yeezus.

Cool people at parties also don't play Kanye anymore. He hasn't made a new good b-----r in years. Drake runs the scene.

Mar 29, 2015 I guess, but if you look at it right now Kanye isn't what he used to be (pretty much makes crap music now imo), Kendrick's latest album is barely decent, & Drake has yet to drop his. Drake is making better music than both of them right now, but I agree with you on the last part.

I love the innovative direction he went in, especially a second time around after 808's, but like you said, as a whole I'd probably bump any other Kanye project before Yeezus. It has it's few songs that have found it's way onto my music like the ones you listed, but overall I look upon it as a good album.
