Try U2, Green Day, Maroon 5. They are old school but they have some great songs.

I don't know if I'd consider myself a stan. I mean, I enjoy Eminem's music (yes, even newer stuff) but I'm not blinded to other artists. I just listen to whatever is appealing to my ears, really. either way, here's my list

    Kendrick Lamar (ofc)
    Tribe Called Quest
    Busta Rhymes (older)
    Tech N9ne
    Madchild / Swollen Members
    Chamillionaire
    Obie Trice (mostly just cheers)
    50 Cent (older)
    Nas
    Notorious B.I.G. (ofc)
Tupac (ofc, not as much as biggie tho)
    Bone Thugs N Harmony
    Kanye West
    Ludacris (older)
    Slaine
    Xzibit

    probably missing a few more

depends on what your tastes are. Of course some of the obvious suggestions would be to listen to Biggie, Pac, Nas, etc.

Maybe try listening to some Madchild / Swollen Members. they aren't super mainstream (they're canadian) but they have some dope material. If you don't like that, maybe try Chamillionaire. he used to be pretty popular.

I'd suggest Bone Thugs N Harmony as well but they rap fairly quick in many songs (though I can still understand it, I don't know if you would).

    Just some ideas.

Nas bores me to death hommie. Swollen Members' Black Magic is good, I don't really like their other stuff so I gave up on them; Beautiful Death Machine wasn't bad but had a r-----ed song in the middle of the record that was like the bipolar oppostie of the rest (dark album with a bubblegum song in the middle, f--- thaaaat)

COACU showed their potential, E 1999 Eternal is a personal favourite of mine, AOW is good but has too much filler, Ressurection is decent and the rest was trash. Innovative rappers though, I liked them. Thanks for the serious answer

    Yeah BTNH's older stuff >>>>>>>>>>>

As for Swollen Members, Black Magic is without a doubt their best effort. Dark Clouds is a brilliant song. With Bone Thugs, their best work was E 1999 and Creepin' on a Come Up. Ressurection had a handful of decent songs but it was clearly their most mainstream release compared to the first albums. One of my personal songs by them might be "Down Foe My Thang" from their first EP on Ruthless Records.

Sorry I couldn't be much help to ya man
