Apr 2, 2015 I listen to Redman, Jay-Z, 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., Outkast, Jadakiss, Kurupt, Nas & Eminem.
Apr 2, 2015 Good thread, I would like some suggestions from the fellow em fans I can't find many rappers that appealing ://
Apr 2, 2015 They aren't rappers, and only U2 could be considered old school. If you can't be serious stfu
Apr 2, 2015 I don't know if I'd consider myself a stan. I mean, I enjoy Eminem's music (yes, even newer stuff) but I'm not blinded to other artists. I just listen to whatever is appealing to my ears, really. either way, here's my list Kendrick Lamar (ofc) Tribe Called Quest Busta Rhymes (older) Tech N9ne Madchild / Swollen Members Chamillionaire Obie Trice (mostly just cheers) 50 Cent (older) Nas Notorious B.I.G. (ofc) Tupac (ofc, not as much as biggie tho) Bone Thugs N Harmony Kanye West Ludacris (older) Slaine Xzibit probably missing a few more
Apr 2, 2015 kendrick drake (barely) but I really don't listen to any rap outside of a handful of releases at this point. don't listen to em at all now either and wont until he releases whatever his next thing is
Apr 2, 2015 Most of the time he's rapping too fast for me to understand :// sometimes he's cool but really hit or miss for me idk. Thanks though man
Apr 2, 2015 My other top 5 rappers besides Eminem are; Marshall Mathers Slim Shady B Rabbit White guy from D12 Evil from Bad Meets Evil
Apr 2, 2015 depends on what your tastes are. Of course some of the obvious suggestions would be to listen to Biggie, Pac, Nas, etc. Maybe try listening to some Madchild / Swollen Members. they aren't super mainstream (they're canadian) but they have some dope material. If you don't like that, maybe try Chamillionaire. he used to be pretty popular. I'd suggest Bone Thugs N Harmony as well but they rap fairly quick in many songs (though I can still understand it, I don't know if you would). Just some ideas.
Apr 2, 2015 Nas bores me to death hommie. Swollen Members' Black Magic is good, I don't really like their other stuff so I gave up on them; Beautiful Death Machine wasn't bad but had a r-----ed song in the middle of the record that was like the bipolar oppostie of the rest (dark album with a bubblegum song in the middle, f--- thaaaat) COACU showed their potential, E 1999 Eternal is a personal favourite of mine, AOW is good but has too much filler, Ressurection is decent and the rest was trash. Innovative rappers though, I liked them. Thanks for the serious answer
Apr 2, 2015 Yeah BTNH's older stuff >>>>>>>>>>> As for Swollen Members, Black Magic is without a doubt their best effort. Dark Clouds is a brilliant song. With Bone Thugs, their best work was E 1999 and Creepin' on a Come Up. Ressurection had a handful of decent songs but it was clearly their most mainstream release compared to the first albums. One of my personal songs by them might be "Down Foe My Thang" from their first EP on Ruthless Records. Sorry I couldn't be much help to ya man
Apr 2, 2015 drake kendirck Q the underachievers childish gambino big sean jay z future mobb deep the game etc
Apr 2, 2015 Kendrick, Big Sean, Royce, Budden, Yelawolf, J. Cole, Childish Gambino, Chance, Action Bronson, Lil Dicky, Jay Z, Kanye West, and occasionally Tech N9ne, B.o.B, and T.I.
