You literally don't know a thing about Future if you think he only makes "meaningless" music But beyond all that, embedding poems into your album isnt the only way to be "deep" lol. And being "deep" isn't a pre-requisite for being talented or making good music. Future and Thug are two of the most 1) unique and 2) technically sound rappers alive.
Apr 16, 2015 For me it's Beastmode but I guess that would be the "best" in my opinion. Monster is what people usually refer to as the "definitive" future tape atm. I think Beastmode (which I reviewed) is the most concise, focused, and intimate project. 56 nights, which is the most recent follow up, is a steady shot of adrenaline. I like both these more than Monster, which kind of droned for me at times.

Apr 16, 2015 i find it so infruitating when privleged r-----s dismiss just how difficult people like Thug had it growing up. it so f---ing ignorant/condescending/snobby/r-----ed/and high-key racist on their part like first off all, you still set the plates for dinner when your mom asks you. thug used to wash them to get rid of the drug residue before they sat down to eat. like, ANYTHING compared to the rosy f---ing lives these forum critics live should be considered "gangster" to them but nah, for some reason @red rum and the like can sit here and tell us thug's a "gay fake thug" smfh (sorry if it wasnt you red, but you're now lumped in with all the other idiots who've piped in the last 50 pages) and none of this even mattes when we're talking about the music. ugh

Apr 16, 2015 young thug is interesting if nothing else. you hear the lil wayne influence, but then there's a bit of future in him. but his music isn't exactly like either of them, he has his own identity. no wonder kanye f----- with this n----- early and no wonder 50 cent is a fan of his. i'm only 2 listens deep but this is already top 3 of the year for me, let's see if it rises or falls off.
