I know what you mean and sometimes I think like you. But he won't. He just wants to do what he likes to do. Rap.

Speedom is just more evidence of Eminem needing to retire. He is like world champion boxer who stay's fighting despite becoming a journeyman.

M&m shood retire, selling 750,000 in the first week on your last solo album blows d-ck. Why in the world does he continue to make millions from doing what he loves? I mean we forum users know more about rap than him anyways. What a loozer

Why should any rapper retire? I don't get it. Rapping is not an athletic sport where you get too old to physically compete on the level of the younger players. I don't think Eminem can or ever will "retire". Rapping is what he does. This is like telling Stephen Hawking its time to retire from the scientific community because he (for no real quantifiable reason) can no longer research among is peers. Fans telling Eminem to "retire" aren't really fans and they also misunderstand the entire essence of rapping and hip-hop in the first place. ALSO, telling Eminem to "retire" is assuming that he sees rapping as a job, which he doesn't. Rap is life to this n----- Eminem. If it wasn't, he wouldn't be at the level that he's at.

Eminem can't really do any more damage to his legacy than he already has. This verse isn't the greatest verse of all time, but it's good.

Remember, this is the guy that made Fack. and Insane. and even more recently, the Shady XV compilation.

This and his Best Friend verse aren't bad.

I think it's a little bit unfair to judge Em in this particular song. The task was clearly to show off his rhyming skills and to do it as fast as he can....well, he delivered, right?

Unfortunately that is his priority nowadays. Like he said a few times on Shady XV he has nothing left to say and makes just a bunch of playful songs. That's it. That's what Em is about right now. So
I don't get why we all can't just accept it as it is and move on instead of acting surprised about every song or verse he releases.

I agree. This choppy fast robotic flow he uses it full r-----!

That being said, Recovery is the best album he's made since his 'hiatus'.

You prefer poppy beats and screaming (2 things people hated on recovery)
Than MMLP2 which his style is probably the closest to the past decade's Eminem we could have?

I like it when he actually has things to say and not embarrassing himself with cheap attempts at trying to emulate his past glory. MMLP2 is pretty poppy and 'screamy' too.

I don't remember the last time he has rapped over a decent beat. We wasted an entire albums worth of Dre production with that serial killer s--- on Relapse. I agree the Recovery beats aren't great but at least he is talking about real subject matter.

ShadyXV and beyond has just been unbearable. His verses hurt the ears.

I get your point, I actually agree with the most..
I believe he has some great beats on MMLP2 but some really bad..
Same s--- ruined Relapse for me.. Less replay value than the others after that..
I cant say much about XV cause it was not a solo album so I didnt expect much content at all..

He dont have anyrhing to say anymore you know his life already from earlier albums so he is just rapping now if you dont understand hiphop then just dont listen anymore. Its a song with tech what did you expect him to rap slow or something.
