You won't blow up from rapping regardless of where you record. I hate to be that guy, but it's very unlikely. Make music because you want to, not because you're worrying about if your recording environment is suitable to "blow up." It doesn't matter if you record in a local recording studio on professional gear or in your bedroom when nobody is home on a gaming headset. There are millions of other nobodies trying to do the same thing. Just do music how you want. Forget about it as a career opportunity or a source of income and just do you. Write what you want, rap how you want, record how you want. A studio doesn't make someone an artist or give them talent or any greater chance of blowing up. You haven't even made a single song yet and you're worrying about if your recording situation in the now will have any significance to your success. Music first, logistics second. Develop yourself as an artist, learn to take criticism, hone whatever amount of skill you have and see how things go from there. It's taken me 5 years to create music comfortably and well enough to be confident in. Am I going to make it big? Most likely not. I started as a wanna be rapper and developed into a, excuse my bragging, talented beat maker. I've made connections with an incredibly diverse group of people, rappers and producers from various American states, Canadian provinces, and even foreign language speaking European countries. Being able to produce music that other people genuinely enjoy and gaining respect from other growing artists that want to collaborate is worth more than a depositing a paycheck. I'm still a nobody when it comes to the rap game, but I've become part of a mini society, a small corner of a picture with a million different angles. I've made friends, I've made fans, I've seen artists grow, I've made music with people who share the same pipe dream of making it and being successful, and I'd be hard pressed to find a better feeling or sense of accomplishment when it comes to making music.
