No, they don't have to but Lupe clearly wants to be one of them. Mural shows that perfectly.

Still don't see any arguments explaining why this album is so good. i'm still waiting.

Imo, TY is an expansive production that tackles a variety of subjects while packaging it more accessibly than his previous work. Lupe gets much better producers and goes in just like old times to create an even better product thsn his older works. At times it can feel a bit too full, but in the same vein as Late Registration, just bursting to the brim with its respective artists most pure essence, not in a oh-godwhen-will-it-end way.

Not even tryna cop out, but quote me in a few hours once I've sobered up so I can make a compelling argument.

I'm pretty sure I've read in the past that WPGs favorite rapper was Lupe back during F&L and The Cool, so it's not like he's bias in saying the rest of Lupes efforts s---. I however enjoy some of T&Y

I like it becuase of the lyrics. The word play is nice... It takes sometime to take it all in.

There are some weaker records on the album but I think it is a nice body of work. He set the bar so high with his first 2-3 albums that this is hard to compare. just my 2 cents.

Ah, my bad. Because I mentioned F&L and Cool I automatically assumed you meant those. While Lasers and F&L2 have some good tracks, no, I don't count them as good.
