Just introducing the gods and s--- is going to be a mass amount of characters. I know the loosing universe's will be destoyed. But are these fights to the death? Or what?

Have a feeling they'll chalk up some plot where Goku impresses old m8 so much and wins the tourney and his only wish/request is that the other universe isn't destroyed so they can train and get stronger, or some s---. Or the universe will be destroyed and all inhabitants will be sent to z fighter universe cause Good-guy-goku demands it. i just think it's gonna be weird if a whole universe is destroyed. like i know planets have been in dbz before, but they always had the ability to wish them back. feel like the universe being destroyed is kinda more permanent sounding
Jan 30, 2017 Is the winner gifted the super balls? If not I could see the following arc being the Z fighters find all the super dragon balls and wish the other universes back. The super balls have been in the series obviously. But they weren't used for anything useful. I don't see them calling this Dragon ball "super" without the balls having a huge part in the series at some point.
