    I'll still listen to his music. If I didn't listen to music or watch movies from artists that were human pieces of s--- I'd probably just have Nickleback, NF and Lloyd Banks on repeat

    Cancel culture sucks, so no.

    But if you want to personally boycott him, go ahead. In the end, it doesn’t matter. I’ll always love the old Kanye, his music, and his message.

    Its sad to see arguably the most influential person in an entire genre lose touch with himself and reality, but it doesn’t (and shouldn’t) have an effect on my life in any way.

    I understand where he's coming from but he could have come with a much better/cheaper option to protest against streaming services. Like a platform of his own with a 5$-10$ subscription.

    My man forgets that he has fans all over the world and in some countries what he's asking for that thing is their weekly salary. 200$ is very expensive just to listen to an album but I wouldn't say he needs to be cancelled for that.

    In Romania we have a saying that goes like this: "the fool is the one that pays that amount, not that one that's asking to be paid"

    Is it finally time?

    I personally don't intend to listen to DONDA 2 and I just blocked him as an artist on my Spotify. I've always loved him as an artist, and I've historically been able to separate his craft from his person, but disconnecting the two has become very difficult to do.

    $100 t-shirts, $300 jeans, $50 for a f---ing hot dog at his last listening show...This was a man who stood tall & loud against consumerism and for change against frivolous addictions that only benefit millionaires/billionaires...how the turntables. He's in control of his product, brand, merchandise, rollouts, & narrative at this point and has been for some time now, which makes this all the more difficult to swallow.

    A $200 Stem Player to listen to his album was the last straw for me -- you can only exploit your lower->middle class fans for so long until your greedy antics are fully recognized.

    was a major d-ck move to have all those album premiers while not actually dropping the finished product and milking it. He made a lot of money off of that

    I think his charm as an artist covered up alotof his negatives as a person so it madeit easier to like him now that the well has dried up musically you're left with all of the negative and nothing to counteract it

    Agreed -- "boycott" would have been a more appropriate word here. Different connotations, but same outcome: to no longer support.

    My tolerance of Kanye has gone up and down over the years. His constant bi-polar outbursts have become so old at this point though. I absolutely say do not support him, do not fuel his ego and his delusions. Pirate his music if you really need it, but it's not even worth the effort anymore anyway. Promote wellness instead of narcissism.

    I'd rather shag Kim Kardashian than have kids with her. Skete doing better than Ye in this situation. 'In bed with your wife' is easily the funniest thing I've seen him say too. Things are looking up for the boy.

    I despise Kanye now. Just an absolute fall from grace in my eyes. It’s sad. He’s sad. Ye was ok, skimmed through Donda, and I will never listen to this new album. I just find everything about him completely insufferable. Half of him is an egotistical lunatic; the other half a facade. Thankfully, I’m able to separate him from his art, and still enjoy his music pre-Ye. But maaaaan, does he s---.

    the stem player is dumb but doesn’t bother me because I will just pirate it anyway and so will everyone else. There are zero people on earth who know what a stem player is but don’t know how to pirate music. It’s a classic Kanye move to have a good idea at the core (boycotting streaming) and then executing it in the dumbest way possible (stem player exclusive). If ur looking to boycott Kanye there’s a million better reasons to do so but I digress.

    also the $50 hotdog thing isn’t accurate—those were the prices in the rich people lounge which as far as I know are always expensive and are determined by the stadium. The regular food is like $5-10 and was the same price every time I’ve been to the stadium Kanye or no Kanye and is actually very reasonable for stadium food.
