Mar 13, 2022 so i been following this beef i watched the whole IG live and listened to this album and either this beef is really f---ing stupid or I'm missing something. It basically goes like this how I see it: *Joell and Crooked really wanted to make a new slaughterhouse album cuz they had not much else going on *while they were working to make this happen "for the culture" they got upset by Joe and Royce's seemingly lack of interest in this revival because Joe had a lot going on with Everyday Struggle/his podcast/being retired from rap, and Royce being close to Em and doing his own s---, and not wanting to do SH without Joe. *Joell/crooked say Joe and Royce turned down a deal seemingly for a new SH album, but Joe and Royce deny this, saying they just wanted more info about the deal which they never got, and that the deal wasnt even on paper *There just seems to be some general animosity toward Joe for various reasons: he is selfish, he hurt the groups relationship with shady due to comments, he's a whiny "retired" b---- That's pretty much it. Am I missing anything?
Mar 13, 2022 It can be summed up by Crooked calling and texting joe about the deal and joe never contacting him back after months of time has passed crook took this as any logical person would as a sign of disrespect and said that no answer from joe was joe answering as not wanting to do the deal Royce isn’t doing SH without joe Royce and joe are saying they never said no to the deal, which they technically didn’t but joe not answering is the same as saying no
Mar 13, 2022 This album is likely better than anything Slaughterhouse could have put together at this point. Crooked's verse on Backstage is candidate for the verse of the year.
Mar 13, 2022 thats false. Crooked didn’t ever call Joe. Not this last time at least. Joe told Joell to call him and he’d talk to crooked. And he waited for a call he never got. this entire thing is cringe though. Crooked and Joell made a collab album in the past with no problems. They originally hyped it as a slaughterhouse reunion. This flipped it into something totally different. We all know Joe f----- up the shady deal. But we also know the album was done for awhile and shady wouldn’t let them release it for whatever reason. If I put time and work In on something and have love for the genre and fans, I’d be mad to.
Mar 13, 2022 now i love the JBP but isn’t it interesting how royce sided with the only guy in the group who dissed his best friend? (marshall)
Mar 13, 2022 comparing to joe to joseph from the bible was insanee among the other countless abilities used in the verse, absolute masterclass
Mar 13, 2022 Ewww I didn’t see it like that . But In all reality Joe didn’t diss em. He was doing his job. He should of kept his mouth shut due to the situation. But still. Dude was doing his job
Mar 13, 2022 On the platform he was on it was his job to give his option. And ak pushed him anyway . He originally stated that he didn’t want to speak on the album .
