Joe and Royce sound pretty petty on the review. Please point me to a verse from Royce or Joe that compares to Crooked's verse on Backstage? I'm failing to come up with one. The Rise and Fall of Slaughter house was decent, not a classic, but much better than they give them credit for them.
Mar 15, 2022 Watched the Podcast, I havnt watched since the split with Rory and Mal, but he has just swapped 2 yes men for another. The guy in the blue tracksuit was on his phone when Royce was ranting! Somethings I noticed, Joe said he was upset they was no diss, but on the Insta live he said it was a disc full of diss tracks? Joe is a complicated guy. I feel like Royce is trying to start somthing now, but I doubt we will hear a track, more than likely just more instergram rants. I can't see how anybody would be quick to do business with Joe again.
Mar 15, 2022 I felt bad for Joell in that live. From what I can tell he's a solid guy who was completely unprepared for the bs he was in for. He looked bad a couple of times, but it was purely because he was being manipulated the entire time. Royce and Joe wanted to 'win' this debate on the technicality that neither of them directly said no to him. That's some slimey s---. Joe and Royce give off such condescending energy but they're not as smart as they think they are. I briefly thought Joe had grown, chilled out a little when he launched the podcast. But his behaviour has been thoroughly consistent. I said earlier that being a good rapper was his only redeeming feature. Joe just has a huge ego and destroys everything around him. He's f----- up so many things in so many ways, is always being manipulative and outright disrespectful. I reckon he's only cool with Royce because that is a rare person he actually sees as an equal. Royce is a loyal guy but he has a huge ego too, and Joe is always licking his a---. Easy to think someone is solid because they're solid with you.
Mar 15, 2022 don’t forget AFTER album dropped he went on the pod and said if he judged with his rapper ears it’d be trash, unbelievable i like how the album didn’t abuse guest or sample hooks too much like joe be doing and the production felt much farther ahead than anything sh has used prior imo but then again it has been like 10 years
Mar 15, 2022 The bonus tracks are great. Should have been in the tracklist tbh, but that's what playlists are for. Joe is bigger than the group, better than Eminem, better without his co-hosts etc. etc. You can't be friends with that kind of person. He also won't honor contracts so you can't do business with him either. It is crazy how much status he thinks he has as a podcaster. Talking reckless about how dangerous of an MC he was, when his career doesn't really back that up either.
