I personally thought lately that he would just invade those two parts of it that he declared "independent". I guess my view of him was skewed and it's kind of a wake up call for me and many others. Even those in positions of power.

I'm not putting you in a box of certain people, cause that's not me. I'm talking more about taking a look at all the information you have gathered without any emotion or personal bias. Anyone can get lost in their worldview and see themselves as the only right one in a discourse. The thing is we live in a disinformation age and both sides are susceptible to it. We can only go forward by learning to sift through it, but doing it rightfully not be duped by propaganda accounts that only exist to cause division between people of particular country or even between countries. I agree with you though about US not being "ideal" to put it lightly, thinking critically and asking questions about the world, but the problem is you can end up on the wrong side of the Internet if you are not careful. And I'm telling you this not because some stupid mainstream media told me this, but from my own experience.

i came into this situation very unbiased, i’m not sweeping the web to find this stuff, plenty people posting on twitter

but for me when i see too many people on the same side or every media outlet on the same page, it’s just automatic flag on the play for me..this IS a very sad situation but so is any war. america commits war crimes every single year. even in the most recent ISIS sting they killed over 10 civilians including children, no big deal tho
