May 3, 2015 In my opinion they got better and better with every film until the series peaked at Rocky 4. Rocky 4 honestly might be my favorite movie of all-time. I enjoy it just as much now as I did 25 years ago when I first saw it. Rocky 3 is great too. 3 and 4 are both perfect 10/10 films. Rocky 5 was the only disappointment of the series (although I don't think it's nearly as bad as people say), then they took a step back in the right direction with Rocky Balboa. 1. Rocky IV 2. May 3, 2015 I haven't seen Rocky V in years, but the movie certainly is the worst of the franchise and with good reason. The story was there, an ageing Rocky retired after the fight with Drago trains an up and coming boxer who turns his back on Rocky settling things in a fight. It sounds good, but the film was executed poorly. For me, it should of ended at III. Rocky was at his peak, unbeatable and the next star who got cocky and ultimately lost his title. He trained, had his comeback and won back the title. 3 films would of been perfect, in my opinion. Not not say IV is bad, because it isn't. IV was my favourite growing up and you can't deny how awesome the 'No Easy Way Out' montage is.
May 3, 2015 Rocky V would've been way better if he fought Tommy Gunn in the ring instead of the street fight. The No Easy Way Out montage is the greatest montage of all-time.
