May 3, 2015 Hi people I have a pretty bad relationship with headsets in general. First of all, not a single one had last me more than a year, and at the time to buy a new one I don't even try to inform myself. I never bought something more expensive than 20 dollars. I tried to survive with some cheap earbuds I bought but they didn't even last me more than a week. My birthday is coming soon so headphones is definitely the gift in advance I want to get. Please keep in mind that in my city I would not find brands like Senheiser or Audio Technica, these are the best options I could get. I am deciding between these two headphones: Panasonic RP-HX550E-N Sony MDR-XB450 (With "Extra Bass") Both are between 70-80 dollars so I don't have any problem with the price. Ok, so this is what I want: The best sound as posible for the price (Hip Hop is ofc the genre where I'm looking for that) The largest lifespan The best materials That's it. Hope you guys can help me with this. Page of the Sony headphones: https://www.sony.co.in/product/mdr-xb450 Page of the Panasonic headphones: http://www.panasonic.com/es/consumer/audio-y-video/auriculares/rp-hx550e.specs.html (I could only find it in Spanish, please try to use the Google translator)
May 3, 2015 You should ask someone to use their Amazon or ebay. There is so many better headphones out there. If you can't I would go with the Sony ones.
May 3, 2015 If I could buy on Amazon or Ebay I would not even make this thread and buy Senheiser or Audio Technica lol, but I'm deciding between these ones Thanks for the help btw
May 3, 2015 I guess that is not the same looking the specs of headphones that looking the specs of a PC but I hope those pages can help a little bit....
May 3, 2015 I haven't listened to them so It's hard for me to judge but the Sony's say "extra bass" which kind of worries me because I typically try to find the most natural sounding headphones as possible.
May 6, 2015 currently using Sennheiser HD 205's, they have great sound and have lasted me 2-3 years so far. Doubt I'll ever buy another brand of headphones
