I've heard the leak version, the single version, and the Kendrick version.

1. It's a song that should have a lot more meaning, but the autotune vocals sorta k--- it for me. Also innovative switchup? Look I'm a big Kanye stan but what the f--- was innovative about that switch-up? I don't even remember the song having a switch-up.
2. All Day is at best, a 7/10. It's a decent b-----r, not a flawless masterpiece.
3. I'll wait until the CDQ but most of the tracks just have little replay value to me.

1) Dude how does "auto tune" have anything to do with the content/meaning on paper? The mixing doesnt change the lyrics lol. The song is one of Kanye's most well written tracks to date. I was referring to All Day re: switch up. But Only One also has the Macca solo at the end, which was a fantastic outro.
2) Whats wrong with all day?
3) all day had little replay value?

1. The delivery of said message is just as important as the message itself, and how 'Ye decided to deliver it left me underwhelmed.
2. The live version is really well done but the single version also has some underwhelming delivery. Though the ending, which reminds me of Yeezus which I love, and the Paul McCartney sample are great.
3. Yes, I thought it was okay when it came out and don't come back to it that often.

1. I thought the track was beautifully structured by Kanye to sound like a lullaby to his daughter about his own mom/grandmother. The auto tune comes down to taste, or threshold for that effect, but shouldnt diminish the quality of the song if you're being objective. there are millions of people that can handle that amount of SFX, and even more, so you cant say the message was butchered because you are accustomed to that sound. And if everything else about this song is great, why are you letting one aspect of it delude your judgement?

2. I dont the difference between the live and the album version is enough to detract from the song as whole. The inclusion of the outro is as good as the energy from the live version, the restrained delivery has its own upsides, etc. You're again focusing on one aspect.

All Day boring af to me now

Only One was a classic the first night it was released.

Wolves is great and I haven't even heard the CDQ. Favorite song I've heard so far, by far.

1. 808s is my favorite Kanye album, I'm fine with autotune for the most part but I didn't think it was necessary for this song. I can't fully explain it but I generally just find the song to be okay and doesn't have much replay value with me, let's just agree to disagree.

2. Kanye is much more energetic in the live version than the normal version. A banging beat and subpar delivery don't mix.

3. I've listened to it a few times, and it's still okay. It's trying to be epic but lacks the depth to do so. I'll hear how it sounds in the context of the album.
