    How about we all agree that there is at least some merit to what Narsh is saying but thug isn't an accessible artist so some people don't see that and there is nothing wrong with it either way

    imo young thug is a cultural s--- stain (along with many other rappers). Its quite obvious he is doing this as a hussle and not as an art form. That is the most common mistake these "artists" make. He, in no way, is innovating any part of the genre or even his sub-genre to any extent. He is just masking generic lines underneath crude melodic, recycled flows over recycled trap-esque beats (wouldn't even call it production). f---in YG's album my krazy life was better than barter 6 and YG's album was hella f---in stupid. His film was even more r-----ed and aimless.

    Edit: there are certain appropriate contexts for dumbass music though
