May 7, 2015 The track starts with a vocoder aided Lady Gaga chorus that vaguely describes overcoming a challenge where time is the enemy. A beautiful piano melody goes along with it. Kendrick calmly starts his verse with Tell My Mama Its Bad Karma I Just Killed A Man, Tell Your Auntie She Has To Pardon Me Because I Had A Hand (A snippet with this surfaced a few weeks ago under "Hood Politics 2"). After that, BOOM - the beat change takes you back to Backstreet Freestyle. The first verse talks about how he's going to start a revolution and lead everyone into peace through his music. There is a Kendrick hook, and then we transition back to the calming state of Gaga's chorus. A longer verse 2 starts, and he proclaims - "This Is For The Hatred In You, This Is For The Place Of Darkness That They Had Placed Into You". His second verse follows with him mentioning current events and how he's going to change everybody's state of mind. After a final Gaga bridge, the beat fades away with the track. This song should've made TPAB. It completely fit the theme, and is a perfect mix of Backstreet Freestyle and Section Eighty. Kendrick's final line basically summed up the idea of the song. Kendrick Lamar - Like God, Love For All People 8.5/10
May 7, 2015 You lucky b----! Jk it was well deserved! It's confirmed that this wasn't made back around GKMC? As in when he collabed with Gaga the first time?
May 7, 2015 This will probably stay exclusive for a very long time, can't see Kendrick making an album any time soon .. Its good for you tho
May 7, 2015 That... that sounds amazing Seems like a waste and a huge bummer he didn't include that song. Sounds like it would of definitely been a stand out track on TPAB
May 7, 2015 Good review m8. As much as I'd like to listen your exclusive track together with you, I'll just re-visit his old albums/mixtapes and hope that you share a few more lines
