    That's why when people dismiss even his prime years, and underrate THAT Eminem, I shake my head.

    Here's some songs I LOVED back in the day by Eminem.... These are Eminem to me... It was between SSLP and MMLP (I believe)...

    So I came out of SSLP loving Eminem, but then I downloaded all these songs, and listened to SSLP and these songs...

    I used to have these songs on a CD and kinda listened to them as an album... They had skits too (where he made prank calls lol)

    Bad Influence
    Scary Movie
    Hellbound
    If I Get Locked Up Tonite

    I'm forgetting some... lol but yeah... SSLP + this + MMLP + Devil's Night

    That was Eminem to me...

    There was a certain charisma that Em had on the mic during his run from SSLP to TES, he was just so inventive and although his content was pretty dark/twisted he managed to make it sound comedic & clever. Definitely one of the most vivid story-tellers to ever pick up the mic..P.S I still haven't listened to MMLP2 & Shady XV :laff:

    I really do like Recovery, and I've said it's better than Relapse a couple of times (though I'm never sure)

    but I would have rather had Relapse 2, maybe lol

    This song is nuts, pun intended exactly what I was alluding to...Not to mention he's doing all of this with that rapid-fire flow, Dre's instrumental was perfect...Recovery wasn't really a good album tbh but I still like playing a few records like Space Bound every now & then.

    I still feel the songs I posted are better than most of his album songs...

    Bad Influence should've been on an album... Song is f---ing amazing. One of his best.

    this is why I get so mad at people who defend Eminem's music these days.

    He is flat out NOWHERE near how good he was...

    These Drugs was amazing. Love the hook too.
