i can always go back and listen to relapse.. it aged differently than most albums idk why

i remember relapse was the first album i ever got early as a leak

nope actually i wasn't sure what was going on

i grew up seeing eminem during the tes days but never really cared for rap music..
then my first eminem album that i actually listened to was encore..

then he disappeared and i forgot about him .. those were the days lil wayne took over

finally relapse came out and i was really put off by how creepy/dark it was and how his voice was all weird n s--- ..
it eventually grew on me when i realized how he was using accents to flow on next level s--- but i still never cared for it too much

i didn't pick it back up til 3-4 years ago and thats when i realized how f---ing dope it is

yea i don't think anyone liked it on first listen because its like… so f---ing left field

i wish people listened to it more tbh...

i feel like if you like relapse.. you respect eminem as a rap artist more than the guy that only thinks prime eminem is goat

relapse is miles ahead of the other post-hiatus stuff and i kinda consider it to be in its own category

sslp-encore is prime em

relapse is prime em as new eminem

like its so old now that it feels like its not old eminem or new eminem… its relapse eminem
(that might not make sense to some of you but it does)
