Hey everyone,
I have an idea for a game that can be built into the forum. I would love your input and if you think it would be worth moving forward on.

About
If you ever played an Atari, you will likely remember the game 'Asteroids'. In the game, you controlled a ship and had to destroy asteroids and on occasion spaceships. While the game is dated by today's standards, it was still a ton of fun. The SectionEighty game uses a similar system but builds upon it, making it an addictive and prospective system.

Setup
Every user begins a round with 100 units.
The users' avatars will be used as targets in the game.
When you destroy a player's unit they will take damage and you will gain XP.
The amount of hits required to destroy a player's unit is equal to their level.
When a player's units are reduced to 0, medals will be awarded such as first hit , most hits, and last hit.
You may use your points you've earned on the forum to buy power ups which may include spread boosts, or damage buffs.
Rankings will be view-able to see your current position.
At the end of the round period the top 3 users will be awarded some form of bonus on the forum.
