May 11, 2015 Mine was Interstellar, that movie was a piece of sci-fi art, I remember I got to see it at the cinema, I was high af, shed some tears to some moments when the soundtrack blasted (d--- you Hans Zimmer), after the movie I was starring at the sky every night during 2 weeks, that movie made me wonder for so much things, like there are places in the universe where the time passes quickly..imagine staying for 10 minutes in a planet and when you come home you see there's nothing like it was (5 years later, for example), seriously, that movie blown my mind.
May 11, 2015 1. Southland Tales - WTF was this BS? 2. The Counselor - What a f---ing let down. Looked decent with the actors in it. I found every 2 mins I was continually breaking out loud saying WHAT IS GOING ON!? I know there's probably a couple more but those 2 jumped into my head right away. EDIT: Then again maybe my mind blown movies were so s-----y that that's why they blew my mind lol.
May 11, 2015 came here to say this. if you haven't seen this, you better go watch it right now. that film was in my thoughts for ages after seeing it. so f---ing good.
May 11, 2015 Momento Inception Interstellar For the most part anything by Christopher Nolan ^^ Prisoners was a f---ing excellent thriller with Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaul Also, Fight Club, definitely in my top 5. But one movie that really made me think was Blood Diamond. There is one quote that Danny Archer (Leonardo DiCaprio) says that just really changed how I think. "I don't know if there ever was a god but if there was, he left us a long time ago..." Personally I do not believe in God but that qoute really ri gs true to me. If you look at all the f----- up things that happen in the world, if there was a God he has definitely abdoned us...
May 11, 2015 I remember going to see this in theaters as a last minute decision, even though I had heard nothing about it. Crazy a--- movie, very underrated
May 12, 2015 Interstellar wasn't much of a mindfuck, but it was an incredibly emotional experience for me. Predestination is what I'd constitute as a mindfuck.
May 12, 2015 Recently rewatched Blood Diamond and it's actually a lot worse than I remembered it. I was pretty disappointed. @ChanceTheRapper Synecdoche, NY is probably the most dense film I've ever seen. It overwhelmed me to the point where I had to reevaluate my comprehension of film. Kind of redefined my way of thinking and made me search out more films that required careful analysis. I still haven't rewatched it, but I plan to when I think I'm ready.
May 13, 2015 Interstellar blew me away man, everything about it was great imo. I remember walking out the theater and thinking "wtf did I just witness"(in a good way) Inception & Shutter Island (Leonardo DeGoat )
