How does everyone see tomorrow shaking out? I see a significant (>5%) win in OH and MO, and narrow win IL. But in NC and FL a loss.
To outperform the "gods at 538" expectations he needs to win those first two states and bring it very close in IL and get >35% in FL/NC.

It was simply a point of leaning towards socialism and away from capitalism. Not obliterating it. A reason people may disagree with your messiah. Calm down Stan.

How am I not calm? lol. It wasn't a point, it was an extreme exaggeration. So extreme that there was no basis in fact anymore.

Saying people enjoy the benefits of capitalism as a point to why people would disagree with Bernie Sanders is an extreme exaggeration? You're an idiot. Fact.

i think there's tremendous merit to having someone like sanders in the senate, and i think that as long-term goals, truly universal healthcare and some sort of mechanism to make higher education affordable are important. but it's lunacy to think that he could win a general, or that he would have any success in strong-arming either thing through congress in four years.

You can vote for whoever you want, WPG just has the most realistic view of the world in democrat politics. 4 years of Bernie would be wasted for all the dreamers.

I would hate to have that kind of thought process. Standing up for what you believe in and doing what you can to improve this great Nation is never a waste of time. If you believe in Bernard, vote for him. Same goes for all candidates.

Democrats will have the Senate and Bernard will choose at least one member of the Supreme Court. These next 4 years will shape the following 20.

do whatever you want. but i don't think, if you're a democrat, that voting for clinton is settling. she's better prepared than sanders on foreign policy--by a comical amount. and i would argue that she's more likely to institute incremental, but sustainable change on domestic matters like healthcare policy.

I agree with both points. I only hope that people would not vote for Hillary because they feel Bernie cannot win the general election. I think of all years, this is the year that he could easily win. He would lose to a John McCain and maybe even a Romney or Kasich but Trump really stands no chance. This is one big 24/7 reality show for CNN/Fox/MSNBC. His numbers are SO low with Hispanics and blacks that he has no real chance.

trump has a populist edge that will be of serious advantage to him. don't underestimate the power of popularity with the demographics most likely to vote.

But discount Sanders for the same exact appeal. Lmaoo. You can't be serious.
If you want "demographics most likely to vote" look at Sanders number with Republicans and Independents, and realize that 98% of Clinton's support would fall to Sanders in the general. AND he's increased voter turnout in most of the states outside of the south so far.
    "Lunacy".... Smfh
You contradicting yourself in a matter of two posts is lunacy.

you're being reductive and naive if you think there are people who aren't slate columnists who are equating the two
