Wyoming has 14 pledged delegates. Bernie won Wyoming by a 55.7-44.3% margin but since the Democrats award delegates proportionally (not winner-take-all like the Republicans do) Sanders and Clinton split the pledged delegates: each of them got 7 delegates. On top of that though, Wyoming also has 4 super delegates which to no surprise, support Clinton because she has the backing of the Democratic establishment. So technically speaking, Clinton won more delegates in Wyoming if you include super delegates (11 delegates to 7 delegates) despite not winning a majority of the vote in the state.

The far-left has been pretty much screaming at this, labeling our whole election process unfair but this is the reality of the situation. Sanders is more than 200 pledged delegates behind Clinton, the difference of four delegates doesn't make any substantial difference. Never in our countries history has super delegates determined the nominee of the democratic primary. Is it undemocratic to have super delegates? Sure. Does it tarnish our entire voting process and make your vote pointless? No, not at all. The people still very much choose who's the nominee.

Hilary has been on the wrong side of history too many times, it's hard to vote for someone who has been so consistently wrong in their calls.

How come Obama beat Hillary in 2008, even though more people voted for Hillary?

First of all, you're taking my words out of context. Secondly, Obama beat out Hillary because he won more delegates. Super delegates didn't hand Obama the victory, Obama won over 100 more pledged delegates than Hillary in 08. Those pledged delegates were given to Obama by the American people who voted for him. Due to the nature of how the Democrats award delegates (proportionally) it's possible for a candidate to win the popular and lose the nomination. That doesn't mean the American people didn't choose their nominee.

So more American vote for one candidate over the other, the candidate with more votes loses, but Americans chose who was nominated? That makes zero sense.

With Hillary having over 200 more pledged delegates than Bernie and polling ahead in multiple of the remaining big states (NY, CA,... Etc.) I wouldn't count on it.

the United States doesn't nominate by popular vote but like I said in my last post that doesn't mean the American people don't have a say in who's nominated. Pledged delegates are 100% relied on the popular vote of each individual state and are awarded proportionally. I'm not saying our nomination process is perfect but this idea that your vote doesn't count or that the establishment just chooses the nominee due to super delegates is bs.

You know what's bullshyt? Super delegates. Like, what is the point of them? I just don't see a need for them at all.

Ask the DNC chair. It's so grassroots movements don't get elected over "real candidates"

Too bad Hillary Clinton is winning the popular vote by millions of ballots.

Which further proves my point that super delegates are BS and are not necessary.

I know, but it's still stupid. If the majority of American people want to vote for a grassroots candidate, then so be it.

I'm not disagreeing with you. I wrote that sarcastically because of how ridiculous her (DNC chair) answer was.
