May 13, 2015 one of my thread ideas while i was dormant was to have us create a SectionEighty Greatest Hits type album where we all vote etc on making the greatest rap album of all time and it would be sectioneightys go-to for introducing new people into rap music kinda sounds like this .. i just didn't ever make the thread cause i know people would dismiss it and talk s--- if it was made by me smh
May 13, 2015 This could be interesting but I'm afraid that it'll end up disappointing and sound like a random compilation or something :/
May 13, 2015 like i make my own album of songs from different artists? and peter parker makes his own? then we post our lists?
May 13, 2015 I'm in, this sounds cool. I have had quite a few different themed playlists in my iTunes over the years
May 13, 2015 I want at least 8-10 contestants before we start this off. So far we have: @VMO2 An assumed yes from @Flacko Possibly @Chigzzer A tentative yes from @Dew Possibly @rapmusik @Trillmate @LukeS80 @BigCountry @Loyalty
May 13, 2015 Although popular vote is leaning towards using existing songs, I like @BigCountry and @Dew's suggestions more, personally May end up making 2, one for both types. We'll see though
May 13, 2015 Yeah you should just go ahead and make the thread, if I like how it goes I'll play along
May 13, 2015 Just sounds like a mixtape (original meaning), but you're focusing more on the topical aspect. I always try to make burnt CDs have a consistent atmosphere. Whether I'm going for a summery country drive soundtrack or something to have on for a late night drive, folk punk greatest hits compilation, etc. On a tangent, here's a mixtape Kurt Cobain made before Nirvana that is absolute madness:
