    B.G.
    Signed: 1994
    Left: 2001
    Beef?: Yep
Reason For Leaving: B.G.'s story is one of triumph and despair, as his once-massive and growing career with the label was undermined by heroin abuse and contractual issues. B.G. left on so-so terms in 2001 to start his own label, Chopper City Records.

    Boo & Gotti

    Signed: 2001
    Left: 2003
    Beef?: No
Reason For Leaving: Boo & Gotti were supposed to be part of the next generation of Cash Money after the dissolution of the Hot Boys, along with Mack 10 and TQ. But their only album for the label flopped hard and they left shortly afterwards

    Bow Wow
    Signed: 2009
    Left: 2015
    Beef?: Not at the end
Reason For Leaving: Bow Wow had been frustrated in the past, but the end of his Cash Money tenure seemed to be a desire to give the fans what they wanted. He insists that there was no drama, but you can decide for yourself.

    Busta Rhymes
    Signed: 2011
    Left: 2014
    Beef?: No
Reason For Leaving: Creative differences and no hard feelings were the buzz terms when Bussa Buss left after less than three years with the label

    DJ Khaled
    Signed: 2010
    Left: 2015
    Beef?: No
Reason For Leaving: Khaled brought his We The Best Music Group over the YMCMB five years ago, but recently announced his affiliation with the label had been over "for a minute."

    Tha Dogg Pound
    Signed: 2007
    Left: 2007
    Beef?: Unclear
Reason For Leaving: "Cash Money couldn't come up with the cash," was the official statement on the dissolution of the deal after only a matter of months.

    Gillie Da Kid
    Signed: 2001
    Left: 2004
    Beef?: Oh yeah
Reason For Leaving: Allegations of ghostwriting, issues over publishing rights, an extensive beef with Lil Wayne, accusations against Birdman... The list really goes on and on.

    Jay Sean
    Signed: 2009
    Left: 2014
    Beef?: No
Reason For Leaving: “I had and still maintain a great relationship with Slim and Baby,” he told Billboard. “They believed in me and my talent and our partnership obviously garnered a lot of pop success

    Juvenile
    Signed: 1997
    Left: 2001; again in 2005
    Beef?: Yep
Reason For Leaving: It was money, money, money both times, as contractual disputes and royalty claims reared their ugly head despite the fact that Juvie was one of the label's flagship artists at that point. He had seemingly left for good in 2005, but found himself back in the Cash Money family this year.

    Kilo G
    Signed: 1991
    Left: 1997
    Beef?: No
Reason For Leaving: Cash Money's very first artist was a formidable voice in the horrorcore hip-hop genre that was far removed from the local New Orleans bounce of the time. But after two albums for the label, he was shot and k!lled in New Orleans at the age of 22.

    Lil Mo
    Signed: 2004
    Left: 2006-2007
    Beef?: Unclear
Reason For Leaving: Lil Mo joined Cash Money with a lot of promise in 2004 and released a string of moderately successful singles, but her album was never released and she parted ways sometime after Hurricane Katrina.

    Lil Slim

    Signed: 1993
    Left: 1995
    Beef?: Yep
Reason For Leaving: Slim dropped three albums in as many years for the label but was a victim of Baby's ruthless mid-1990s clearout after complaining of unfair royalty payments and contractual issues.

    Limp Bizkit
    Signed: 2012
    Left: 2014
    Beef?: No
Reason For Leaving: Maybe Cash Money's most bizarre signing (or is that Paris Hilton?), Limp Bizkit briefly signed on the to label in 2012 before parting ways without dropping an album.

    Mack 10
    Signed: 2001
    Left: 2003
    Beef?: No
Reason For Leaving: Mack 10 has maintained an unofficial affiliation with Cash Money over the years, but he left the label after one album to take his own imprint to Capitol.

    Magnolia Shorty
    Signed: 1997
    Left: Unclear
    Beef?: No
Reason For Leaving: Magnolia Shorty was Cash Money's second female rapper who dropped her bounce debut in 1997. It's unclear when her affiliation officially ended—by the turn of the century, the label was down to a handful of artists—but she was tragically gunned down in New Orleans in 2010.

    Mannie Fresh
    Signed: 1993
    Left: 2005
    Beef?: Yep
Reason For Leaving: Mannie Fresh was behind the boards for more than a decade on just about every single Cash Money project over the years, pioneering the label's hugely-influential sound. But while Fresh chalked his exit up to it being "time for [him] to grow up," he would later say that it was difficult for him to get royalties out of the label, with a lawsuit settled in 2006.

    Mr. Ivan
    Signed: 1994
    Left: 1996-1997
    Beef?: Yep
Reason For Leaving: The masked MC was a label fixture for a few years during Cash Money's initial rise before contractual disputes led to a falling out.

    Ms. Tee

    Signed: 1993
    Left: 1997-ish
    Beef?: Unclear
Reason For Leaving: Not much is known about Cash Money's very first female artist, but she's collaborated extensively with New Orleans MCs over the years after parting ways with the label towards the late 1990s.

    Mystikal
    Signed: 2011
    Left: 2014
    Beef?: Not Exactly
Reason For Leaving: Mystikal made his name originally with No Limit Records, so it was a surprise of sorts when he signed on with Cash Money after his release from a lengthy prison stint. But things didn't work out, with the "Shake Ya a.ss" MC saying he was "going a different route" with his music.

    p---- Daddy
    Signed: 1993
    Left: 1994
    Beef?: No
Reason For Leaving: p---- Daddy was a local bounce artist before he signed on to the label, but things came to an end when he was shot and k!lled after just one album.

    PxMxWx
    Signed: 1993
    Left: 1997-ish
    Beef?: No
Reason For Leaving: Victims of Baby's mid-1990s clearout of the label, despite enjoying success with Mannie Fresh's production backing.

    Teena Marie
    Signed: 2002
    Left: 2008
    Beef?: No
Reason For Leaving: After a long hiatus from recording, the singer returned to the fold in 2002 and released two albums on Cash Money before her untimely death in 2010.

    TQ
    Signed: 1999
    Left: 2003
    Beef?: Sort of
Reason For Leaving: TQ had some hits on the label but never actually dropped an album while signed. He wrote a lot of hooks and songs for the Big Tymers while there, but left due to the shakeups and the label's rap-oriented focus.

    Turk
    Signed: 1996
    Left: 2002
    Beef?: Yep
Reason For Leaving: Turk jumped ship after the Hot Boys fell apart in the early 2000s to kickstart his career on Koch Records. His initial reasoning was that he moved "because I felt like the camp was broke up," but his 2015 lawsuit against the label alleges more money mismanagement.

    UNLV

    Signed: 1993
    Left: 1997
    Beef?: Yep
Reason For Leaving: Five group albums and a solo effort from Tec-9 came crashing down after a dispute with Birdman led to rumors that Yella Boi had pistol whipped Baby and shot up his car. The truth never came out, but UNLV left the label and Yella Boi was gunned down in an apparent robbery gone bad in New Orleans. The surviving members would eventually settle on a royalty dispute in 2006.

    Young Buck
    Signed: 1995
    Left: 2000
    Beef?: No
Reason For Leaving: Buck has never spoken ill of Cash Money and still supports both Baby and Wayne, despite their issues with each other. But he was down with Juvenile more often than not, and after Juvie fell out with the label Buck was scooped up by 50 Cent and G-Unit. The rest is history.
