May 17, 2015 There is something to say for accessibility. I wouldn't listen to anything off TPAB in the car besides King Kunta. GKMC has more tracks to ride to. Both are classics. Just different types of classics IMO.
May 17, 2015 I enjoyed TPAB more initially than GKMC, but I think GKMC is already standing the test of time better because it's less bloated. Remove Mortal Man, How Much A Dollar Cost, and Momma and the album is 20 minutes shorter and a lot better for it. Section.80 still the best Kendrick project.
May 17, 2015 of course everyones gonna say GKMC rn. Ya know why? Because when TPAB came out we all overrated it and bumped the f--- out of it too much so of course its gonna lose some replay value after 2 months of straight praising/overlistening to it. in a month or two we'll all be back on it.

May 17, 2015 It's bottom three for me. Not a bad song by any means, I just enjoy it less than the rest. I guess it's kinda necessary after "i" to show that everything isn't rose-tinted.
May 17, 2015 Mortal Man, How Much A Dollar Cost, and Momma are some of my fav tracks... I still think TPAB is better than GKMC. Its more diverse and the story telling is just as beautiful.
May 17, 2015 jazzy production goes to far at times e.g "u"(mostly the second part) would be a better song without the jazzy horn. that beat is so haunting, especially at the transition with the female vocal. I think the horn takes away from the emotion it could of resonated
May 17, 2015 I think the album has held up well (although, it's only been TWO months lol) As far as ranking his albums: 1. GKMC 2. S80 3. TPAB No other answer is correct.

May 17, 2015 its absurd to me when some of yall say it's boring or doesnt bump in the whip, its all opinion and taste but d--- idk how some of yall can say that. tpab is great, i love the album just as much as i did when it clicked the first week it came out (listened to sec80 for the first time in months the other day, i still love this album more than tpab and gkmc)

May 17, 2015 TPAB you won't understand unless you have delt with severe depression/suicied so I doubt to many people will really understand it. The story telling in GKMC is on point but it's just one day from his perspective and the album was influenced by interscope Seamed like with TPAB they where like f--- it we will let him do what ever he wants now
