Oct 13, 2022 I'm confused here. You are aware it is completely eminem related. You didn't even write the verses to the beats, so you know its completely off.. the sound (beat) quality is bad and you recorded it with an airpod mic lol What did you expect people's reactions would be?

Oct 13, 2022 I was closely listening for the first few tracks but eventually just started skimming through. It’s hard to recognize the beats when you can barely hear them over the vocals so I’m not surprised I didn’t recognize Til I Collapse, I guess that’s part of why the beats sounded low quality too. I don’t know what rap city or 2.0 boys sounds like
Oct 13, 2022 Rhyming is only one part of rapping. If you’re good at one aspect of rapping and s--- at everything else you aren’t a good rapper. I don’t blame you for this, I blame modern Eminem for teaching people that all that matters is rhymes and syllables
Oct 13, 2022 Your rhyming and storytelling is good at points, but since you’re doing it exactly like Eminem laid it out for you, it isn’t that impressive. It would be more impressive if you did it with your own voice, style, flow, beats, etc. You are copying his style by making rhymes that he would make, telling zany and weird, misogynistic Slim Shady stories that he would tell. You can have complex rhymes and zany storytelling without sounding like Slim Shady. If you take your complex rhymes you have now and make it YOU, it could be good. I’m not sure how else to say it right now
Oct 13, 2022 i wrote this album in 2017 after cave of wonders at a low point of my life where i’d cut myself off from em the forum my girl and most of my friends and i literally taught myself to sound exactly like him because i ain’t really like myself. i’m proud i succeeded. but at the expense of my own identity. this year i been doing self work and this month i recorded this album to practice recording and so i’m now writing and recording a new album with a more personal, much less depressing, much less sexist style inspired by relapse but with my own twist. i’m working with jmg, slicknick, 5oh and other vets on this. i want you guys to know i’m working and trying and i wanna know what i can do better. but telling me buy a $100 mic or spend my energy learning to like trap beats isn’t finna help me lol. otherwise i am genuinely listening to these comments and i wanna show people who i am. i love occasionally… often… being shady, because em and i are the only ones who can. but i’m also working on being way more personal with my writing and style now
Oct 13, 2022 That’s good to hear. I’m sorry for being rude to you but I feel like sometimes artists need to hear that rude criticism in order to truly get better. That’s what I would want for myself anyway, I would want honesty even if it’s rude. You don’t have to have a $100 mic or like trap beats, it’s just a mic that’s a little higher quality than an airpods mic would be nice and being able to hear the beat better so your vocals aren’t too loud would be nice. I’m glad to see you aren’t taking my criticisms personally. I truly hope you get to a point where you find your own style like you say and get more people to like your music
